Sir,
you do have to pay ESI contributions on salary of Rs.10000/- and below ( excluding washing allowance). Age is not the criteria for coverage.

Dear Mali ji

I need a clarification

If suppose, we take employees on contract basis , we need to pay ESI and PF , and in case if we take employees on consolidated salary basis , what do we need to pay the ESI and PF contributions

Kindly indicate whether ESI and PF will be applicable or not when we induct any employee on Consolidated salary , though is salary is Rs 11000

Dear Mr. Sudhakar,

If employee is on contract basis & employer convinced them for non -contribution of PF & ESI scheme then for these employees PF & ESI will not be applicable.

Keep Basic more than 6500/month so PF will not be applicable
And if Gross more than 10000 the ESI will not be applicable.

For any query please do call Prashant - 9850401160

tks mr.prashant . But the question is

when you employ persons less than Rs 10000 and you keep their basic less than Rs 6500.

Because we do not enter in to legal battle with PF authorities, my consultant say no need to cover when u take tham on consolidated salary, but my view is that they need to be covered, what is your opinon, when a consolidated employee employed under Rs 10000 per month

Whether the ESI And PF applicable are not

Regards
R Sudhakar
