hiii... i have completed my Ist MBA in karpagam college of engineering under Anna University.. i got the permission for my summer project in Cotton India company.. they used to sell their ready made dresses through Direct Marketing.. so I need some Marketing related topics... so can u suggests some topics..and i ve the topic as SWOT Analysis of that company.. is the topic is marketing related???

How are they selling the garments now? Do they use other methods in addition to Direct Marketing? SWOT of the organisation encompasses marketing and is more comprehensive as it includes all other functions.

Is this summer project an internship or is it for your final project?

hi all thanks for your suggestions.. they are selling the garments through their own shops.. they are having 5 shops...then they are also undertaking bulk orders from some reputed customers...
This is my summer project.
Can u guide with your valuable suggestions...?

dear sir,

They are selling their garments through their own shops i.e., Direct selling.They are not following any other marketing methods. This is my summer project on internship.They are manufacturing their own products and that is for male alone.

If you are considering a Marketing Project then you can conduct a customer survey at all the five shops and see if there are any differences between them; if so, what are the differences and why they exist. Then you can see what can be done to bring the poore shops to the level of the top ranking shop.

You can look at from both the product and the service aspects.

You need to conduct a literature survey and decide on the aim and objectives, etc. Please see my posts on Research Methodology and MBA Projects. Use the key words from your query and search both CiteHr and the web for models and suitably alter the questionnaire. Draft a questionnaire and then attach it here to get feedback.

Thank u. I will do it. Next month am entering into my 2nd year MBA.In that i have to choose my specialisation. In my college they are offering 4 specialisations. Those are production, marketing, HR, Finance. Among this i have to choose dual specialisation. Actually I did my B.E computer science and Engg. I have some basics about Finance.So, I have two Choices. One is Finance & HR. Another one is Production & Marketing. Which one is the right choice for me??
