Dear all i am working in a domestic bpo with a manpower size of 3000 in pan india. can anybody guide me on statutory compliances. we are maintining monthly proper submission of esi and pf challans and attendance registers at the entrance. is there anything else that to be monitored on monthly basis as per the labour laws? what are the important labour laws to be followed related to maintaining registers in all the locations. actually yesterday labour officer came to our chennai office and asked for some registers that we have never maintained and also asked for some details as per laws to be mainted on the notice board. he has also claimed for rs.5000/ or will suit case in the labour court. please help to resolve this issue as he will again come on monday. regards sanjukta
Employee off roll in fmcg, is this appropriate?
Dear all i am working as an hr in one of the fmcg . i have few query related to off roll employees as my company want to recruit sales employees in various territory but for off roll . and similarly they are asking to give them offer letter and instructed do not cut there pf esic or any other statutory dues . i clearly inform them this is not the appropriate and there is no any laws for off roll kind of entity in the company or this would not possible to take some on and not deduct any statutory things and give them offer letter . am i right or wrong ?? is there any one who will help me to resolve this problem . i am very much sure that i cant provide offer letter in any one is not working on company pay roll. so what is the solution . pls help me . govind
Fix up minimum wages
Dear friends i am in software company i have doubt in fixing up a wage for house keeping employees. see we have decided to take 2 of our house keeping temporary staff in to our pay roll. currently we are paying them 2000/ per month. i have explained them abut all the statutory deduction from thier salary. they are also willing to accept all statutory deduction from the salary. but i do not want to give them lesser then what they earn now. at the same time i want to take them in our pay roll. pls let me know is there any idea to fix them a pacakge with out any further hike or deduction or suggest me how muach to increase further and take them in to our roll. thank and regards gopi.k
