Hey Friend,
If concern consists of more than 20 employees then the concern should remit the PF amount in the Pf office it is mandatory when it comes under the classes of business specified.Once the company gets registered itelf it will remain forever if the number of employee are reduced below 20 after registration. The contribution or deduction should be 12% in which 8.33% will be for the pension fund.Remittance will be filed 15th of every month.

In some concern the deduction will be 10% if the concern falls under the field of Brick,Beedi,Jute,Guargum,Coir Or Spinning industries.

Each and every employee should be covered under the PF if not serious actions can be taken.

You can file a complaint against your Employer in text to the PF Office in your locality.PF Officers will take actions regarding the petition. If you want some other details please mail me if you wish

Hope this helps you

Regards,

No, if an organisation has more than 20 employees it is neccessary that the company should register itself with PF number. But yes if you are on direct contract or consultant type of a profile then there is every possibility that you PF is not deducted.

A Company Can register for PF only when the number of employees exceed 20.

There is nothing like a confirmed employee will fall under PF contribution.

Take Care

Dear,

Please provide the detals of your salary slip that how much amount is deducting from your salary, confirm it first there is any deduction made for PF from your monthly earning,

Are you getting any salary slip form the organisation where PF deduction has shown(you said that PT deduction please ask to company about PT meaning).

Did you get any appoinment letter where it stated that your organisation would give PF benefits?

If your organisation employee less than 20 peoples than there is no PF required and how much salary you are getting & how much your Basic+DA,if your this is more than 6500 INR/month,then PF is not applicable to you(check your company policy on PF too).

Please get it clear from your HR/Admin/finanace dept..

tell us about your salary paid by cheque ,if it paid by cheque than no need to get confirmation letter from your company, please read your company standing oders if they have for more details.

Dear Friend,

Please check the Provident Fund Deptt official website, there is a option there, wherin you just enter the name of the company and you will get to know the PF code of the company,

If you got the number then also, or otherwise you can contact Regional Office and enquire with the copy of PF Slip, Appointment Letter etc,
Since PF is applicable from the very ist day, you will get the information.

BUT DON'T FORGET TO CHECK FROM WHCIH STATE THE PROVIDENT FUND CODE IS ALLOTED TO YOUR COMPANY.

You have every right to question the HR and tell them to provide your PF Account number. Even in the worst case if your PF account is not opened, you may aske them for the emplyer PF code number which will at least give you an assurance that they have a PF account.

Regards
