Hi
either you can have nice rest .:-D
Or
You can study the cost managment .come with ideas to control
costs.concentrete on the performance management.give look at
discipline /code of conduct.start preparing formats and master
formats that will help the management get ready info.
start with employee engagement activites .come with some ideas
in case of recruitment process and the cost of it , start some motivational programmes, paste a note wishing birth day of the employees............it goes on .
At the same time you can take interest in statutory compliences and liasing.

Dear Padma,
1.Visit competitors and do a comparitative study with parameters.
2.Check with customers on employees attitude and shopping experience
3. Identify training needs from this.
4. Check the knowledge of your staff with surprise quiz and rewards.
Hope it helped

Hi Padma,
As you known HR subject is vast, try to get more knowledge by surfing the webpages and importantly out citehr. It has wonderful stuff.
If you have enough time try learning new topics in HR and get enough knowledge of whole HR process.
If you are bored with HR activities try learning new subjects like stock marketing / online trading etc.,
so you have various options to go ahead.
Funny part is I am looking for free time to do all these things, but not time at all.
All the best.
Kumar.
