It needs to be implemented throughout India, this will minimize the corruption on the road. Although this will discourage people joining police force. They can't make their daily pocket money any more :) :)

Hi Malini,
I agree with your view that a policeman have no power to inflict any punishment if driver or owner do not possess valid documents of vehicle and driving licence. But under the practice and by Motor Vehicle Act they have been empowered to administer the provision of law. In fact RTO personnel do not have enough personnel to control these illegal acts of public. This gives rise to curruption. In most of the cities Traffic Police maintain traffic on road.Keep on posting

Hi Friends
Interesting to get lots of information on just one site - Cite HR. Well, here's a query from me..Seniors please help:
1. Besides reading through several posts, a basic doubt still prevails regarding the 12% interest rate for PF deduction. Is the 12% calculated over just Rs. 6500/- (irrespective of your Basic+DA) or 12% over Basic+DA.
2. Is the cut off still Rs.6500 or has been revised to 10,000/-.
Please update me with this information. I'm struggling really hard for this clarity.
