components included for OT Calculation

Dear Seniors,

For calculation of OT apart from Basic and Da , can we include HRA, CCA, Other allowances and conveyance or simply Basic and DA. Kindly help me in this regard.

dear
overtime to be paid at the double rates of wages.
if you definition of wages as per payment of wages act ,it covers HRA,CCA,and other allowances also.
so it should paid twice of basic and alll allowances.

Dear Member,

Section 59 of the Factories Act says that overtime to be paid double the wages which includes basic wages + all other allowances which are being paid to the employees.

With due respect I beg to state that the interpretation of Sec 59 is not being done in the right way. Please refer to Sec 59 (1) & (2) for further clarification. Eagerly waiting for your reply.
