i hav newly appointant in a company which deals with Rock Phosphate,fertilizers etc. there is no well establish HR Dept .I m the only HR person there.As my first work MD of the co. told me to prepare Code of Conduct for the co.
So i need help to preare COC as wht should i include , wht format sould i adopt etc.

donot worry you are right on your point but some people are born to criticise others ,take it positive.
basically code of conduct means rules and regulation for the company.your company may not be having certifed standing orders,otherwise these standing orders have all rules and regulations.if you have any other problem ,you can write to me or contact on phone.

You can develop your standing order(if applicable to your company)otherwise you can purchase model code of conduct of your state then develop accordingly to your company rules & regulation but all the matters should be comply with legal law.
Regarding format & othe things,you can develop your company internal code of conducts
Please find attached code of conducts for suppliers(for Next client to suppliers),you can take help that how social & ethical requirements are communicated and you can add all your HR related policies of your company with all legal activities accordingly(your focus would be company to employee).

COC is the method to have uniform rules and regulations for the company. HR Head has to see that there are some rules are framed to govern the employees. Uniform, incentive, mobile, leave, loan and other welfare measures are the part of it.
What you have to do is pick up one topic and start framing the draft and get approval from your seniors. One thing you have to keep in mind is that start consulting the HODs also. They will be a great help to you.
