IceHrm is a Free and open source web based Human Resource Management system developed targeting
small and medium sized companies to restructure their HRM process around it. With rich ajax user
interface, it gives the user an experience similar to using a desktop application. IceHrm is currently
supports following features.

1. Administration Module
2. Employee Information management
3. Leave Management

Administration Module
This is the part of the system where the HR Manager or other appointed personnel perform all system
administration tasks. This includes defining the departments, job titles, pay grades, education
information and other master data. Also the Administration module will be used to manage users.

Employee Information management (EIM)
This module contains information about employees. Each employee or administrator can update their
information such as Education, Emergency Contacts, Dependants information, Salary information,
Education, Accounts, Supervisors and Subordinate information.

Leave Management
This module allows HR Manager to define leave types, leave quota for each employee, working days and
special holidays. Employees can to apply for leaves and these leave applications can be approved or
rejected by supervisors of particular employee.
