How can i make most of the jds as measurable kras. how a person can be measured with their jobs?
Dear all i have joined this company which is into networking and video conferencing solutions. at present i am making jds and kras for backend staff including the hr department. key help me as to how can i make most of the jds as measurable kras. how a person can be measured with their jobs. the negative impact here is senior people of the depts are saying as soon as we measure the customer query handling for example employees may manipulate the data to reach the target. i just want to put the measurable terms in a little soft way so that it does not affect the work. would appreciate having quick replies.
Obstacles in formulating kras & kpis for the firm- plz suggest me.
Dear friends please give your valuable time to my query & guide me my management asked to draft kra & kpis for all existing deptts. as job descriptions are mandatory for kras but all jds need to be updated as per changing role & responsibility with jds first of all 1.goals of the organization 2.deptt s kras and then 3.individual kra & kpi should be formulated. please correct me if i am wrong. and for formulation of the same i need to undersatand all deptt work flow through discussion with each deptt head. here i do have few queries please guide me for clarification: alibri1. is it possible to develop kras without deptts kra ? alibri2. what is key performance area and how it is different from kra & kpi? 3. the sequence of developing pms is setting and than goals and than deadlines. what is the role of goals here and how to set goals. one more problem i am facing that line managers as well as top management is not interested to give time to discuss the same. they just give me work to do but don’t cooperate. and whatever jds has been formulated by me are not upto the mark as per my understanding because of the lack of information provided to me by deptt. head. as i analyzed that all employees doing lot of work than written in the jds. so if i draft kras on the basis of jds these would be inaccurate. plz guide me? how to handle the issue

Hi i am looking for clarity regarding kras. if anyone of u could explain me how to write kras based on the jd i would be thankful. the jd of an accounts executive in my company is: 1 maintenance and accounting of petty cash on daytoday basis. 2 maintenance of bankbook and bank reconciliation on monthly basis. 3 accounting of expenses on day to basis as and when occurred. 4 negotiating with suppliers in respect of all financial transactions regarding rates and payment terms. 5 preparation of invoices as per the agreements and followups with customers regarding the outstanding receivable from them. 6 management of sundry debtors and sundry creditors with ageing analysis. 7 payments pertaining to salaries payroll other center expenses payments to suppliers etc as per due dates assigned or as per agreed terms. 8 maintenance and recording of entire income and expenses in accounting software on daytoday basis. 9 preparation of mis reports as per required format of the management on monthly basis. how do i make kras for this? pls help. its urgent. regards vasudha.
