Hai Shiva,

It is really very bad to hear form a young HR aspirant that he got bored with HR activities. I think you’re in the starting stage of your career just 3 yrs of experience and you should never say that you got bored with your work, just imagine those with who are wrkng in this field from years. They never complain they get bored with their works.

Compared to other professional we HR professional are blessed with god’s grace that we deal with human (complex machine). So we should never say that we get bored. And HR is not limited to only Recruitment, Induction and policies’ framing it’s a vast field you have to try some innovative ideas to perform your job. You can create your own idea to implement in your work and those working with.

As compared to HR professional working abroad HR professional in India are blessed with many things. As Mr. Sundararajan said they have lots of thing to do in a manufacturing sector.

And I do think that the time have come to change your job, as a person may get bored if he have no new challenges to perform in his present work environment.

Hi Shiv,
Iam Pavan; I do come along with 3+ exp in Hr; I feel when any role is bounded by activities which are routine & recurring in nature and their is no further to do in it; then yes every professional will feel their job is boring; this is just not confined to HR; It is for all professionals who still have the Zeal to do things innovation & who feel why a task has to be done in a particular manner??Why cant be done any other pattern which is more professional & systematic; more creative; Hence, what i feel is when we join at the basic level we learn & hence we have zeal; after 3 yrs this Zeal especially in HR field will get low as the work is same for the most; but few professional like us still like to do things differently & then a Question arises "Is my Job Boring? it always the same"; but believe me when you start something new for the old in a better manner, you will definitely feel the challenge
Thanks & Regards,

May be,
It happens for only few in the industry. From the day one I have undergone in policy making as a junior Executive, say it is all almighty, and blesses. Where as CMMI have done in my first company and other undergoing now.
It is really difficult to produce "QUALITY OF WORK" as there is now end for the level of satisfaction.

Dear Shiv,
you are bored of HR, and you see I am bored of this life, this material life, and I want to go to the other world, and experience spiritual bliss. Away from this hatred, and worldly desires. I want to fly like a free bird lightweight and free, no issues, no tension of job, money, etc..

Dear All,

How can anyone be bored of HR???????

I mean this is one job that people crave about. It is one of the most authoritative job one could ever have.

We are the people driving organization, driving motivation, driving performance and we are the people who drive growth.

If we only get bored of the job that we are doing how can we expect the employee's morale to be high and their motivation to be on zenith?????

It is not right thing to think about boredom at a place where it has got no place to withstand.

We should understand that we are on the wheels of the car name Company and we are the people who thrive to make way for organization's growth and not giving bumpy rides.

Just imagine if the driver feels bored while driving, is there any one in the car who can take hold of the wheels as efficiently as a driver. The obvious answer NO.

So guys inspite of the fact that you might be bored we should indulge ourself in some activities.

We can carry out a stress analysis with the help of friends and/or colleagues who have degree in psychology.

This will help us to understand the mind set of employees and also will help us learn different subject.

I personally keep myself busy reading books and watching movies that are inspirational and which can actually help me to learn new things.

Guys once again please dont feel bored of HR at least not on this site.

The real reason of boredom is not the job, it is how you do it??
