I am a confirmed employee (eight months old) in a MNC consulting company. I met with a car accident and forced to take medical leave for about two months... During this leave period, company has not paid my salary...
Is Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) exists in India...??
Could anyone guide me with applicable medical leave policies in India....?

you dont have accidental policy because if you have accidental policy than you will get little bit against absentism
as you have asked medical leave policy it varies from state to state because all state have their own shop and est act .you please clarify state of your establishment than we can give idea about medical leaves.

dear rishi mysore shop and establishment applies in karnatka and as per that 12 days medical leave are allowed in a year. regards j s malik
