Salary kept on hold after submitting resignation - full and final settlement will be processed after 45 days
Hi team i have submitted my resignation in my current organisation on 25th august. notice period is 45 days. as soon as i submitted the resignation my salary was kept on hold and not received august month salary. payslip got generated but salary was kept on hold. not even releasing the partial amount to manage my basic needs. i don t have money to eat food also 😭. they will release this hold salary augustseptember 9 days in october with full and final settlement. so they are holding my 70 days salary. the full and final settlement will be processed after 45 days from last working day it seems. 45 days from october 9th 7045 115 days. i will die with hunger by then. i am a married guy need to take care of my family. i am working here from 23rd august 2021. appreciate your time and response. regards mohan m
Salary calculated according to 8.5 hours or 8 hours?
Dear seniors i wanted to ask if someone s salary is rs.15000. and our work timings are 8.5 hours out of which 8 working hours and half an hour lunch. so if we calculate this person s salary for let s say 3 hours. will it be 176.47 or 187.5 taking 30 day in a month as a base? will it be calculated according to 8.5 hours or 8 hours? please clarify.

Resignation under probation period
Hi all i have one question regarding resignation under probation period in offer letter we have mention that you have to serve notice period for 1 month in probations period one of our employee is arguing that ' there is no any rule for resignation in probation period for one month as per law i am giving spot resignation and company has no rights for hold my salary " is it true? or not now a days company hold his salary and he is going to labour office for legal action kindly give me a suggestion what should i have to do ?
Last month salary hold on behalf of resignation
Dear all one of my college has resigned from his current job on 080614 with an 15 days notice period and he will work here till 240614. our director is asking to serve the notice period of 30 days and also he has hold his may month s salary. he is saying that it will also be paid to him along with full & final payment. all you are requested to please suggest is this kind of last months salary hold is justified or not. is any company has the right to hold the last month salary on the behalf of resignation & f & f payment? is my friend can knock the labor dept. door for the justification as director is not listening our hr. thanks & regards amit kumar

Hey my name is jai and i worked as a technical support executive in a certifying authority. i informed my hr about my resignation on 1st may and send him a dedicated mail regarding the resignation. the notice period in that company was 1month. i informed hr that i will not continue this job from 1st june and i resigned. i completed the notice period. but my salary of may month is not credited in my account and hr is saying that they will transfer it next month i.e. july. so my question is it is legal or he has right to hold my salary? or what do i have to do in this situation please help.
