Hi Everybody ,
Iam Yamini nithya , Iam working as Recruitment Executive , In a consultancy based at Chennai . I just completed MBA ( HR & Finance ) I just got a Job 2 months before.
I want to have a very good carreer growth in HR. So kindly tell me how i will have the growth .Now iam an Executive - Recruiter. How long will it take me to be a senior Recruiter , Assistant Manager , Manager.... I know Iam too Futuristic but i want to know How I must work and what are the steps i must take to come up to higher position
I Know everything depends on my Performance , But I just want to have a Plan in my Carreer Growth , Kindly Let me know an approximate Time Period.
My Ultimate aim Is to be Head - Recruiter/HR.
Kindly help me in this , Give ne the proper suggestion and guide me as to how i would reach my ambition

I would like to say that as far as you carrier Growth in HR it depends upto you you may get on a better post by enhancing your knowledge of HR and the communication skills as far as you spend time opportunities will come their selves to knock your door but the condition is the Professional HR knowledge.

Hi,
Try to enhance your knowledge while you are working. Take up courses related to HR and keep your self up to date in developing HR trends.
Have short term goals and work towards them. After one is achieved eye for the other with better improvements. Learn from the mistakes and try to improve your self.
Also while you are on the run………………….don’t forget to slow down once in a while and check whether you are on the right track!!!
Good Luck!!! You are really ambitious!!

We are slowly moving towards an era of role based organisation rather than the current structure of desigantion based. What you may like to do is to figure out by various means/tools as to what roles are more suitable to your type of personality.
Roles will keep on changing with the growth of the business and we need to constantly adopt to such changes. In another decade or so we can very well expect shared hr resources for the industry which is already a practice for large group organisations.
Point I am stressing out here is that we have this block in our mind of growth vis a vis designations but that will not be a case in future.
Our belief in ourselves is what would take us forward.

You have the intention to grow and grow. Keep that intention alive ...which is very important
Four factors are important : Officiall, professional, personal and social.
read good books, papers, journals as a continous habbit
talk to people whom you can help and also whom can help you
watch very carefully about the happening around you
update your knowledge, skills
be polite always...
be slow in action....and be very cautious when you re-act
your words will develop you....so always be very optimist in your words and action.
make the people to feel that you are good, dependable, worthy.
always plan for your activities.
have a plan of action in a note.
Preferable have a white board, black board at home to note down your plan of action. (i follow this)
Carryout religously, sincerely.
Be open minded personality.
So the list goes on nithya...and there is no end to it.
To end, your attitude decide what you are.
