Under paid entry level designation with high roll and responsibilty of 12+ year exp. it
I am an experience it professional 12 joined in a media company about 3 years ago at the time of joining i surprised to see my designation it was entry level designation of it that time hr told me that it happened from companys headquarter but it will take more than 3 months and suggest me to accept this offer letter first then they will process correction of designation. my situation was very bad due to lack of salary payment of my previous company and under the recession of it sector so that i accept offer letter on joining day. my roll on present company as per my experience as well as some more responsibility not directly fit on my profile but my designation still maintain like a entry level it professional. i am getting half salary in compare to 5 year back. i dont have problem with my technical skill but underpaid and junior designation bond me to work as bonded labour. i want to switch my company need to back it sector. please suggest what should i do?
Designation moved down in organization rebanding
Hi before joining current company my designation was senior executive with same designation joined current company in 2012 holding experience of 5yrs 8monts. this year there was organization rebanding with some criteria especially for those who are software/sr.software executive/senior executive level like with more than 3years experience and complete last two appraisals will move to from software to senior software same for executive to senior executive. with me there are many people joined in last two years holding same exp and designation keeping these criteria all our designation moved to one level down. in mycase my supervisor promised me for promotion to assistant manager as i moved back to executive even after promotion my designation will be senior executive. i raised this issue with hr generalist they cosulted top management and came back this criteria cannot be relaxed for recently joined laterals also. can some one suggest what is the best way to deal with to sort things as this my career and i am completing 7yrs in by next month. thanks karthi

Hi all i am working in a broking company from the past 1 yr. my total experience is of almost 3 years. here i am working at a sr hr executive designation. i am open to new opportunities now. however whatever calls i am receiving from other companies even though big companies i have been asked to join them at an executive level. and thus i deny the offer only because of the designation. i really want to know is my step taken a correct one of denying the offers because of the designation? i do not believe in getting into a new company with a good pay package and a good role however going down on the role ladder. kidly assist on what and how is the call i should take while negotiating the deal and resulting in a winwin situation for both.
