Hello All,
As per my knowledge PF has been deducted on Basic wage+DA. If in case minimum wage bifurcated in two parts i.e., Basic wages + HRA e.g., Minimum wage in our state is Rs. 3000/- pm. We bifurcated into Basic wages Rs. 2000/- + HRA Rs.1000/- will it be violation of minimum wage.
Further, we deduct PF on Rs. 2000/-only. Will it violate the regulation of EPF act.
Your valuable guidlines will certainly enrich my our knowledge.

dear
if you are having minimum wages 3000 and bifurcating them in 2000 and 1000 as you have mentioned .there is no violation of minimum wages act .
if you are deducting PF 0n 2000 than it is violation of PF ,as it is to be paid on minimum wages.

Dear MalikJI,
I need a small clarification
In our company we are deducting PF only on the basic & we are not including HRA or other allowances for deducting the PF. Actually our company is located is bangalore. More over in our company Basic + DA is more than minimum wages act of karnataka shops & commercial establishments act.
Please revert on my questions.
