Candidates not joining after accepting offer letter - recruitment strategy?
I am facing a serious problem in recruitment. we have urgent requirement of php developer in our organisation. after very hard work we find some suitable candidates and we gave them offer letter also as per their choicejoining date & salary as per market standards. but they don t turn up on their date of joining by making excuses like family problem accident not well got better opportunity. please guide me what recruitment strategy should i follow.

Dear all we have six branches all over south and one of our branches in hyderabad has a problem of recruitment. there is a problem of getting new recruits. the employees who join leave the company very soon. ours is an advertising company in which i am the hr manager across the branches and i do not know how to attract and retain employees in this branch. we need account executives and art directors. please help. jayashree

Since last year or so what we me and other recruitment consultants have observed that many new recruitment consultancies have come up in almost every cities of india being a new hr consultancy they are charging very less or fixed recruitment charges from the company for recruitment and as a result many established consultancies are facing problem to get new business or loosing old clients as the companies / hr managers are negotiating on consulting charges and forcing to lower even from 8.33 which i personally feel is unhealthy cant we hr consultancies have an association like all other business have where a minimum recruitment charges are fixed for all.. dear seniors pls guide us on the same
