Changes in Professional tax slab in karnataka:

There is a very good news for salaried class in Karnataka... they neednot have to pay professional tax upto 10000.00 with effect from 1st of April 2009

Effective from 1st April 2009, professional tax slabs has been revised in Karnataka, I would like to share the details.

W.E.F.1-04-2009, Employees drawing salary upto Rs9,999/-Per Month are exempted from payment of Professional Tax.The existing slab w.e.f.1-04-2009 is as below:

Hi

I redd in Times of India Newspaper. there is a changes in Professional Tax slabs effected from the financial year 2009-10. upto

Professional Tax Slabs

1. Upto 9999/- - No Tax
2. 10,000/- to 14,999/- - 150/-
3. 15,000/- and above - 200/-

Confirm with the Professional Tax officer once before making the monthly returns/payment.

Dear Sir

Can you please let me know the latest professional tax slab of karnataka and also let me know the effective date and the amendment details, so that i can change in my data. As per my salary package I am yet to update the same and the provider has also not informed us about the same, hence the request is made

Less than Rs.10,000 Exempted (b) Not less than Rs.10,000 Rs.150 per month but less than Rs.15,000 (c) Rs.15,000 and above Rs.200 per month Which is effect from 01 April - 2009

Changes in Professional tax slab in West Bengal

There is a change in slab of West Bengal Professional Tax.. anyone drawing salary less than Rs 7001 need not have to pay professional tax with effect from 1st of April 2013

Effective from 1st April 2013, professional tax slabs has been revised in West Bengal
