Default Salary Structrue

Dear Friends,

Hello!!

Iam based in Baroda. I have to work on revamping the salary structure of our employees based on the current market trends.

I am not aware of the present scenario in the Market as far as the lower and upper limt of salary is concerned. I have tried to talk to a few consultants but to no avail. I am new to the field of HR so I do not know many HR professionals in other companies

Is there some HR professional based in Baroda who can kindly help me to know the lower and the upper limit of salary structure for various hierarchies in various depts.

Are there some govt. instituitons or forums who sets such limits? Will some other organiozatrion be able to help?

Please let me know the same at the earliest.

Regards,

Vinita

Hi vinita,

You can check the job portals for similiar kind of jobs and see their salary ,on which you can conclude the salary bracket based on the level at which your company pays eg:high payers or not

Hi the basic components of the Salary Structure are :

Basic
Dearness Allowance
City Compensatory Allowance
House Rent Allowance
PF Contribution & Pension
Petrol Allowances
Cellphone allowance
Entertainment Allowance
medical allowance

While taking the above into consideration you have to work out also the income tax aplicability.

The salary can also be fixed on the designations and when u are taking a person into that designation the salary can be fixed at that level

with regards

Dear All,

Hi! I am Renu working with a USA Based manufacturing company with its head quarters in Jaipur. We are also facing the same dilema regarding the salary structure. How to compare ourself with other companies? I also feel that we are in trouble ore so becuase there are a very few manufacturing industries in Jaipur and obviously the salary range is also as per the location.

I also have to look into the aspects of what would be the salary range in Delhi region if we put up another plant there. Can someone help with suggestions/ details of agencies who conduct this sort of survey/ website where I can get help?

Meanwhile, I have found something which might be useful as a reference. I have checked that t is downloadable and can be used as a reference. Its from kellyservices.co.in.

Please keep posting,
Renu

Hi Vinita,

I suggest you go and check out the current rates on real estate , petrol and consumer price indices . This will enable you to evaluate fixed salaries and the relevant hikes to be given at the time of performance.

Maithilee.
