Also, pl guide if there are any specific requirements under the applicable statutes. Say for eg: in gujarat labour license is to be obtained for 10 or more workmen under the Contract Labour Act, similarly are there any specific requirements under labour laws for Haryana. Dear Bhavin We hope that no one will be able to spare time for giving answer to such a lengthy query. Leaving aside central acts, the Haryana Govt. have also framed its own Labour Laws. Plz be specific. Moreover as far as I know some HR members have given statutory compliance check list on any of the forums. You may also go through these check list. Dear This is to clarify that we in Haryana State do not have Act in the name of haryana factory act, 1948. This is a central Act & the name of the Act is The Factories Act, 1948. Section 2 which provides us different definitions do have definition on 'wage'. Moreover,the definition of 'ordinary rate of wages' is provided at section 59(2) of this Factories Act, 1948. Dear What we have observed so far the definition of the wage & salary is one & the same but in general we utilize the head of salary for staff personnel & wage for workers. Even though if you are interested in having the exact definition of 'salary' then you may go through section 2(21) of the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 for query.
