Dear all,

According to PF Act, employer is to enrol all categories of employees including the employees engaged by or through contractors and also piece rated, hourly rated employees up to the salary of Rs. 6500/-. Please clear the following:

1. Whether the employer has option to enrol the employee in PF whose salary is beyond Rs. 6500/-

2. Whether it is optional for the employee to join in PF whose salary is beyond Rs. 6500/- by keeping himself on payroll of the company.
