Can someone suggest 2 different titles for Area Managers of the same sector. Say one is addressed as ‘Area Manager-Dubai (handling 8 to 10 outlets), what can the other handling the same region (but different outlets) be designated as ?

Hi Anamikaji , You can say 'Area Manager - South' or Area Manager - North ie: you can designate them as per the zone they are handling .:-D regards Rajeev Dixit

Thanks for your suggestion. This option will not work as the outlets are not distributed zonally. Both of them have outlets in North & south zone. Will something like Area Mgr (Dubai-I) & Area Manager (Dubai-II) sound professional.

you may title both of them as AM along with a zone name which is named by your company if you feel needed. Actually I don’t see any problem to name two person at the same title.

Hi
The best thing you can do is just divide the area into zones. another thing you can doappoint them for different industries says 1st AM will only look into corporate sector and 2nd will look into Govt Sector.

I feel Anju Sethi’s suggestion is the best as it has more clarity and a proper protocol. LG
