Hi Akshita,
Following things you can try in your office -
1. Ask everyone to wear Bright coloured Dress- Red , yellow, Navy blue etc. This will make the office Colourful....
2. You can keep a plate full of colours which people can use only to put Tilak( Mark on Forehead or Face) you can decorate the office by using coloured paper cut in the shape of hands. and write some slogans.. encouraging Team work.. n Holi spirit.
3.You can play guess the title game if you can prepare Titles for everyone in your office
4. You can Ask the bosses of different department to do a small.. cat walk kin of thing and ask audience(Office members) to judge who is best
5. You can also play holi with Flower petals..which would solve the problem of damaging the office.
You can also make small packets of colours or Sweet and distribute it among the employees when they leave
Hope this helps. Do let me know how was it ?

I just thought of a few.

Holi is celebrated with colors - meaning joy.
- Ask everyone to wear the color of their choice on the partcular day.
(Find attachement to reveal the meaning of the color what they have worn - thus relating to their personality, probably during snakcs time. It will be fun. Make sure that this is a suprise part)
- check this link for a color personality test

You must be having a list of employees reporting structure.
for example : John reprts to smith; Laura reports to adam...
so create a structure like John - Smith
Laura - Adam
Then ask John to write a color next to smith's name (color of Johns choice)
Ask Smith to write a color next to john's name (Smiths choice of color)...
like wise.. ask these people to write the color what they feel like attributing to their supervisors and reportees too.

You must have already prepared a set containing diffrent color chits and in each chit mention a nice activity - it can be like signing a favorite rhyme for their supervisor or imitating their supervisor.... likewise you can have many interesting activities. So check what color is written near the names and ask them to perform the activity!

:-P hope this helped at least in the thinking process...

Hi there,
Just play holi the way it should be played. Personally, I don't want to play games on holi. If u can manage a place inside organization like cafeteria or the garden near office, then just go for it. Throw water, throw colours to each other. After all the mess can be cleaned the next day.
If this is way not possible then, go to the holi party as a office group. Collect money from all and enjoy there at the party. You can also arrage a venue of your own to celebrate holi if all are interested to play with colours.

I have my office in one of the towers, can't celebrate in lawn or on the terrace. The folks out here enjoy fun filled games. Could someone please suggest me some exciting activities which i could organise? I had already conducted Mr. & Ms. contest, Passing the parcel, Aantakshri, One minute games on various occassions. Please suggest me something different.

Well, you can keep different colored bands in plain envelopes and ask each one to pick one. These bands must be in pairs eg 2 no. red, 2 no. blue etc. Then those who have matching bands get to dare or give a target to each other(or you can think up some other competitive activity). The bands are just to get the feel of the festival of colors in the office.

Very Beautiful, creative & thoughtful presentation.
Keep on sharing Neha.
well my input to this situation is "oraganize some in-house games to cheer employees spirit along wd spcl sweet for this occasion "Ghujiya" so that they can feel bit relieved from this tough time. Keep min. use of colors (mainly dry gulal)
"wish you a Prosperous & stress free Holi to all Cite HR members"
