Looking for a Job in Qatar

I am a seasoned HR Manager working in India and planning to come to Qatar in a business visa to find a job.

Please let me know the prospects of getting a job in HR there and also while being in a Business visa...

Welcome to the UAE / Qatar Section of the forum. Thanks for writing to us.

1. Please always be very particular of terminologies that you use. "Business Visas are meant for Business Objectives, a Business Travel Trip for a short term to a particular Country.

2. Visit Visas for General purpose visits and so on with Toursist visas as well.

Its illigal to work in any country on a business or a visit visa. Best option is to circulate your CVs with Overseas consultants and try to grab a job through a proper channel.

Take help of Job Portals. You may land up with some direct employment visa as well.

Visas are issues dealt with immigration authorities of each country and we are no authority to guide you on these issues as they differ country to country. Such topics are not relevant to the purpose of the forum and website. On Immigrations every country has setup websites to provide complete informaiton.

But yes, as an HR Fraternity, whatever best we can help and guide you we try to do it as much possible from ourside.
