Dear All, I have to prepare Check list for Pay Roll Department, Pls guide if any one is already having the same in your office.. Regards Vandana Singh...:(

Checklist includes..

a) Leaves taken by the employee .. i) Casual leaves ii) Sick leave
b) Date of Joining of employee
c) Whter any loss of pay is there
d) Contribution towards PF and ESI
e) Income deductible - You shuld look at the investments and declaration made by
the employee. You should also note the exempted allowance whicle calculating tax
IF husband and wife both are in employement then HRA is exempted in only either
of the case. If any house property loss is there u should set off that
f) Deduction of Loans taken by employee from the organisation
g) Bonus payable
h) Incentives payable ( If the company is having practice to pay with salaries)
i) Amount deductible on account of Loss or damage caused by employee
j) Last but not least,...... you should have idea of Salary structire .. Basic + DA+ HRA + other allownaces + ( Some cases they add the PF contribution by employer here and again deduct in the columns of deuction) Deductions are PF ESI PT Income tax and if any other loan taken by company.

If u are happy with this.. we can prepare a simple format in excel...
