I think there isn't any need to tell you the meaning of ASAP now as many other members have already informed you about..

anyways process the things ASAP as aked in the letter.. and if its a good news than congrats..

its like when some one ask you to do some thing, he is expecting to receive or notify your doing or acting with the following way

as faster as you can

the shortest time you can

the earlier time it can

You better learn all the abbreviations used in office correspondences ASAP. Use the website www.thefreedictionary.com for learning new words, their usage, etc.
