Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry. The software is $399.95 for the Standard version and $699.95 for the Full Source Code/Fully Customizable version.
Though the software is not made in India we have designed the software to be internationally friendly for any country (example: Date Formats, National ID etc.). Additionally, since the software is written in Microsoft Access, anyone from any country can easily customize it to meet their needs using the Full Source version.
As we are always looking for ways to improve, if you have any suggestions that would make it better for users in India, please let me know.
If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Mark What are the view options? Can we provide limited views to some people (e.g. employee self serve) and full admin views to others (and anywhere in between?) Bill

(this may end up as a double post - sorry if it does) Mark, are there custom views (i.e. restricted access for general staff?) and broader views for admin (HR) staff? Bill

Hello Billjw,
At this point, the program does not have Employee Self Serve. It is really designed to be used by HR Departments in Small and Medium sized organizations where they may be sharing access on a network with up to 5 HR Staff. We do have a version allowing restriction of data access by location in case there are different HR Professionals responsible for managing different locations, and a primary administrator that can see all data.
That said, the HR Data Manager is written in Microsoft Access and the Full Source Code version is fully customizable meaning the sky is the limit for modifications.
Thank you for your inquiry and let me know if I can answer any more questions.

Why HRIS in Access? - Microsoft Access is the number one desktop database software platform and is great for small and medium workgroups. Many small and medium sized organizations with fewer than 5000 employees do not need an expensive enterprise solution to meet their needs.
The HR Data Manager software is written in Microsoft Access and the Full Source Edition comes with ALL source files and two hours of free customization/consulting time.

Why break the bank with an enterprise HRIS during these tough times?
The HR Data Manager is Full Customizable and was written in Microsoft Access. You can easily share in a network environment using either the Access backend or use SQL Server 2005/2008.
The Full Source Edition includes all source code and files.
