Dear Sir,
Pls help me about the rule for calculation the salary . I have some confusion whether the salary for the month is caculated by 26/27 or 30/31 days
Like Per month salsry is 10000
Calculation :-
10000/26 or 30 *one day salary(Including sunday or not ).
Which is the rule and any justification for the rule. So that i can explain to the other colleauges and clear their doubts,

If your employee work on basic means fix salary, so you should have to count salary on 30/31 days, and if you employee work on piece rete or on daily wages so, you may go with 26/27 days. :)

salary can calculate
in Calendar days === total salary / days in a month * no of days to pay
working days === total salary / no of working days in a month * no of w dys ( actual days worked)
in working hours ==== total salary/ std working hours in a month * total worked hours (eg
if an employee working 45 hrs in a week (8*5) then 45*52/12 =195 as std working hours
wher as 52 = total weeks in a year, 12 = total months in a year
Salary calculation is gross salary = 10000 , worked hours is 100 hours
10000/195*100 = 5128
