Hi Dear,

See, i would suggest you not to leave the job at present. In fact, i will suggest you that you look for some other opportunity in the market since u don't have work to do at office as mentioned by you so, this is the right time to look for jobs as at this point and time you can easily take leaves for the interview. Also,i would suggest you to go for either consumer durables or automobile industry boz as of now there is no news of down fall in these 2 industries and why i am so sure abt this is boz i have worked with automobile in past and currently i am associated with consumer durables.

Cheers

Thumbs up For Arsha

Dear Arsha
First search better job then quit from your present job. Jobless also headache.
So first search better opportunity for you, then take decision.

Default a kind suggestion

hey automobile industry has slowed down their production and this is not only in India all over the world. And we cannot say so b'coz of today's market's ups and downs. So try to grab the opportunity in any industry anywhere as of now to move out but make sure that u can excel in that offer and the work environment is good.

Priya

Hello,
I had a point regarding the employees having not received their salaries for couple of months. That being the status, dont they have any means, legal or otherwise to make sure that they are paid their dues? Can a company continue to employ people without paying them? And in case someone wants to take legal action, how should one go about it?
Maybe clarity on this will help others in similar situations.
Thanx,
PS

Exactly, i would want to know more of this...!! Though we worked all the while 2 months. But asking the mgmt abt salary only resulted in more frustration as the mgmt asked us not to worry too much about money as it is a small concept but focus on work...It has been rumoured that we wont be getting any pay for the next few months too...who knows when??

Arsha

Hi Arsha,

This is the situation many small orgnizations are facing these days. Particularly with Small KPO'S, BPO's and other IT/ITES organization. I know it is very tough to work without salary but you do not have many option at this point.

Market is very bad, so its dificult to get a job. So my sugestion would be to look for a new job and at the same time continue with the job that you are doing at this moment. Because it is even very dificult to get a job when you are jobless.

So look for an good option and as soon as you get a good option quit the current job.

Hope you get the good break soon. All the best.

Regards,
Surendra

Dear PS, Arsha & Ruchi,
Niz topic to discuss. u query, What happens if a company goes bankrupt? yes, all have to leav with out pay and no dues can be claimed! and further u cannot take any legal action against them! shocking rgt?! but tatz the fact!
When a firm goes bankrupt, its assets are sold and payed to the borrowers/venture captalists in priority percentages. Any other views......
