| | Dear Arsha First and foremost i want to applaud u for your courage on airing your worries live on the net, and being humble enough to ask for advice...thats a lovely thing Now as you said that everybody is leaving and you havent even received your pay for 2 months, thats a very troubling thought indeed..but there is one thing i want to ask you Arsha Do you love your job? Is this the line you see yourself in 5 years from now? Can you financially support yourself even if there is no pay 2 months from now? Are you getting emotionally drained off seeing the low morale of the other employees or can you motivate yourself without any worries? You know what my friend, I have asked you these questions because each of us are unique individuals who have our own goals and priorities and the other things that matter are finances inner motivation etc. Its very easy for everyone to give advice, but none of us put ourselves in your position, only you have the power to decide what is best for you..... You have held on so far and thats gr8, uve also shown that nothing stops you by getting the company a customer and doing them a huge good...can you hold on for sometime longer.. You hold the world in your hands Arsha.. Make the best use of that chance... If you have any questions you can scrap me...ill try my best to answer you Take care and Wish you all the best. Regards, Aveena |

I understand your pain, but this is not the right time to quit your job as the market is in pretty bad shape, i truely agree with all our friends and im happy that all the ideas are in sync. so you just try to explore new opportunties and pick the best one if you really wish to make. In fact this can be a mgmt game to understand the longtermivity of the employees, iam pretty sure they will release pending salaries once they feel there business is onhold, as this is a temporary crisis. Any ways decision is let for yourself. It is fine to continuee as long as you love this profession and dont have perosnal commitments w.r.t money
Let me know if you need any help. You can send me your resume to . I head the fcuntion of Recruitments for US based product based company in Hyderabad.

| | According to me your decision to quit should based on what all your companies has given in its good times.Have you grown with the company, have you learnt from the company.Do not just consider the present bad scenario but also consider how company treated you in its good times.
All the best. |

Greetings!
Don't quit your present job until you get a new job. As of now me too facing the same pblm. My management gave a alert signal to search a job. I know the pain and difficulties to get a HR Job when market is down. So better don't quit your present Job.

| | Hey Asha !
You have not mentioned in which industry u are in. Anyways as the market is bad, it is better not to quit. It would take same time might a month or two. Total industry is in this crisis. Plz have patience and we shall all pray. |

| | Quitting now will leave you in distress, as the job market is really sluggish right now. So its better to be patient now and hope for something positive from your current company, like getting the pending pay.
In the mean while, keep looking for opportunites and avenues. If you get a get a good offer, quit and if no, keep trying.
Things are bad for eveyone these days, even for employers, so beware!

Ritika |

| | Haste makes Waste Hi Arsha,
If you are based at chennai, send me ur profile , but dont quit ur job unless u get a new one since the job market is very bad and i had faced quiet a number of interviews after losing job, u cannot create a good impression though its not ur fault. Remember the job market is verybad and u need ur experience certificate to speak for you though the money does not, so stick to this and try to learn new things unless u get a new one. Equip yourself.. All the very best...
Regards,
Priya |
