Seeing the scenerio in the global markets and the meltdown. In india we too are going to face the music. Currently most companies are freezing new hires or downsizing. Some companies are re-deploying staff to diff depts instead of giving them pink slips.
Even large and medium size recruitment consultancies are downsizing and cutting costs.
