The expectations from consultants is not like earlier. The firms are looking at people with techno functional skills, where it is difficult to adjust in the initial years with lot of tensions. You should be prepared for it while moving in to this field. Also, pay also may not be like earlier.

Lot of demand for SAP HR professionals with good domain experience. 5+ years HR domain experience will be added advantage if they do SAP-HR training and certification (only in a reputed institute like siemns). I am sure they will be in a better position to get placed than 2-3 years domain experience + SAP HR certification.
You may have to compromise in salary during initial 1-2 years since you are joining as a fresher, but over period of time you will be better paid than HR domain experience professional with same experience.
I feel better to go for OLT(Online Learning Training) in a reputed institute and get certified. Dont leave your current job till you get your dream job in SAP-HR. You should be ready to spend 1.64 Lakhs for OLT training.

Hello Anand..
Greetings for the day!!!

Can you share some details about the Online Learning Training.

How should one go for it; I mean where should the coaching classes and practical classes be provided?
Is it a certificated course approved by SAP AG?
What are the class timings? Weekends????
Total fee??

Would appreciate your prompt response.

Thanks,
Swagatika

Hi,

Sap HR is very much in Demand.
I would recomment you to start a career in SAP HR.
Get an OverView of SAP & SAP HR for 2 months.
Search for a good Institute with a good Faculty.
You can even go for a weekend course.
Your 5+ years of expreience can help you a lot.

All the Best for a Bright Future.

Regards,

Hi,
Doing SAP HR module in Online module will cost around 1.7lacs including certification fees. Now has authorised so many centres in india.
You have to consider the present IT scenario.
Some of friends had completed certification SAP SD module still not able to find a opening in the industry.
Again you need to have huge interst in the IT. Dont choose SAP simply for good salary.
You cannot excercise any of your HR domain practice in SAP jobs.

Regards,
Hilda.
