Default Can i quit the company

Hi,

Iam working with a company where i was made to sign a bond for one year and i was sent for onsite training. Right now iam unable to work in night shifts and having family problems as iam a non-localite. Is there any way that i can leave this company and no legal action will taken against me. I have signed a bond paper of value Rs.20. If i plan to quit do i need to submit a formal resignation. Will i be made liable to pay any amount. Please advise.
