Eligibility - can I claim arrears for the HR delay!?

Dear All,

I have worked with NPO for 6 years, almost performed about 6 typers of jobs, did last minute jobs, finished all given tasks, got good appreciations except good remuneration (they declared that it is a Not for Profit Organisation and can`t pay much beyond that! ).

My health suffered problem that caused by heavy work pressures at the desk and i have submitted my resignation form last week and got relieved atlast (they wanted me there with the same poor salary and asked me continue further without having discuused about substancial hike for the financial year.)

But my paymentfor the last 15 worked days is yet to be received. And one more thing is that HR at office has decided to give all arrears for this present financial year this month, they may add arrears to the present month salary. At this time may i eligible to ask my arrears that are under pending from the march of 2008. Please suggest me in this regard.
