Dis is Indrani. i have cleared the written exam (HR) in SAIL. my GD/PI is on Nov'08. Please suggest me some tips how to clear GD/PI. Also suggest me some possible questions which i can face in SAIL,which is a PSU. Also if anybody happens to have prior experience of facing GD/PI in SAIL, please share your experiences with me. I believe, you would be required to make a presentation about yourself, like your backgroud, your edn. qulf., your aspirations, your future plans etc. They may ask you to speak about yourself and you must be prepared for that. Then you may be asked about your family background etc. One thing you must remember that when you are going for a steel Co. you must know about the set up of the co. its parent ministry (done forget to remember the name of Central Minister and State Minister for Steel). If you have some exposure of the job, then they may ask you about your job profile in that co. what you did etc. The hot topic in Public sector is pay revision of officers. You must know the process of pay revision in Public sector, how it is done etc. Read the recommendations of 2nd pay revision committee for public sector employees, it will help you. You should present your self as a freindly Future HR Officer. These are some points that I had in mind.
