Default How should i increase my efficiency?

Hi Friends,

I am in great dilemma.
I am working in a small IT company of about 50 people.I am basically a recruitment executive in the company. Now in my last review i was told to increase my efficiency in recruitment and i was given a very harsh feedback.
After that we received some 4 requirements for positions to be filled.I thought this is the right time to prove myself and i started looking out for people rigorously.
And to mention this the quality standards for our company are extremely high.
I found around 2 very good candidates for the positions to be filled. When i approached the management saying we have found very good people they say now we do not have any requirement. But they have still asked me to keep looking for people and the efficiency should not decrease.
Now i am really worried as to what should be done,as to how should i increase efficiency?

Default Playing wiht you inexperience

Efficiency can be increased by adopting good strategies and acquiring clear picture of the situation one is dealing with.

First of all you must have knowledge and analysis of market practise to question your managements opinion on your efficiency. What is benchmark of recruiting in IT industries and what is recruitment time.

Once you analyse then you will know what exactly you are lacking. What are sources and methodologies. What areas to be improve in order to imrpove your efficiency.

Management will keep saying negative remarks of your efficiency but they also to be told what exactly market say abour efficiency. Otherwise this is total bluffing game of your management. They does not know what they except and market norms and their inexpertise in turn become your problem in justifying what is efficiency?

You must ask clearly with facts what is market norm and what's your standard of performance.

Regards

Rashid
