What can be expected from clients in dealing with headhunting firms? Dear Seniors,
I am working in an executive search firm. As a Consultant, I normally mediate between the client and candidate for almost all aspects of the recruitment process.
Very recently, I have come to experience a rather unusual client. Once the candidate has been introduced to the client, the latter no longer keeps us in the loop and decides to disregard us from all communications and updates. I have made several attempts to obtain feedback and updates through both emails and calls, and received nothing. This has become very frustrating to the point that the candidate has been offered the job, with all details covered, even the starting date finalized! All this information has come from the candidates rather than the client.
I hope someone can shed light on this, or even better share any experience you might have had and how you dealt with such situations. I would appreciate your guidance in this matter.
