Dear Members

Great day!!

If we get an oppurtunity to work on US immigration process (Visa Documentation), will it be a advantage for HR to work on this, and does it add some value to our career.

Dear Vamsi,

Greetings!!!

As a HR person it will add value to your career to have worked on Immigration Process not only for US but as many companies as possible. Try and develop contacts inside the Consulate or the Visa Processing Agencies. If you have employees traveling onsites often it will make things easier for you.

All the best.

Thanks & Regards
Koshy

Hi Koshy

Thanks for reply. Now I got a chance to work on Immigration process for US and UK temporarly for some time. I accepted to work on this thinking that it might be helpful in future and to develop my career.

But i was in a dilamma wether it will be an advantage to learn immigration process being in HR and wether this gives me some push if i try other jobs in future.

As suggested by you, yes will try to develop further.

Thanks again....
