The India R&D center’s core activity includes developing innovative technologies and global product platforms that focuses on Product Engineering, Technology Research, Market Innovation and Engineering Services.

The Product Engineering Group builds global platforms and applications for high quality software systems. The group works in partnership with businesses to meet evolving market challenges and co-ordinate with engineering teams worldwide. The Technology Research Group builds high-value technologies that improve or change user behavior. The Global Solutions Delivery) group’s activities can be broadly classified into Engineering Services and Business Services.

Role
Sr HR-Business Partner- Technology

1. This role reports into Sr. Manager- Human Resources-India (Technology) but serves as a member of the technology line management team contributing to business direction and consulting on issues that affect human capital.
2. This person would be responsible for building strategy, improving organizational performance and developing organizational capability.
3. The HR Business Partner serves as a liaison between the business line and HR to assess human resource needs in areas such as employee relations, performance management, compensation, talent management & development, and change management; communicates these needs to appropriate corporate HR staff; and assist in developing an approach to meet those needs.
4. The HRBP manages the delivery of HR programs and services to the business unit supported, implementing them in a way that ensures that the program's goals are accomplished while meeting the business unit's needs. The HRBP must understand the business - its structure, culture and how internal and external trends influence the organization. The HRBP must also know the strengths and weaknesses of current workforce in relation to current and future business needs.

Key Functional Area:
Performance Management (Annual Review, Mid Year review cycle)
Talent Development & Management
Employee Relations & Engagement (not tactical)
HR Advisory (Change management, Manpower planning, HR agenda alignment to business direction, Compensation reviews)
HR Policies & processes (Awareness and Adherence)

Qualification
- BA/BS required; MBA (Tier A, B+ institutions) preferred- eg. XIMB, XLRI, TISS, SIBM, SCMHRD etc.
- Ability to translate client business plan and goals into human resource capabilities needed to achieve results
- Strong communication skills (oral & written)
- Ability to diagnose problems and identify appropriate solutions
- Ability to INFLUENCE & MANAGE MULTIPLE STAKEHOLDERS, change thinking, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damaging the relationship
- Ability to provide leadership, work collaboratively on teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels of the organization
- 6-8 years’ experience in an HR generalist or business partner role
