We have taken gratuity policy by lic gratuity and premium submitting on a yearly basis in beginning of the fy. moreover our one employee resigned his service after 6 yrs completions of services but his increment due last one year with revised of basic salary. pl advice he is eligible for gratuity according to revised basic. pl advice. regards shiv pandey
Cl/pl intervening with weekly off and paid holiday.
Hello seniors our factory situated in maharashtra and we have weekly of on friday. one question is in mind that one of our employee applied for 2 days cl for thursday and saturday. can we allowed his cl as intervening day is weekly off i.e. friday. what i have to do in this case. in another case one of our employee applied for 8 days pl. during this period one weekly off and one paid holiday is intervening. so in this case i have to give 8 days pl at a stretch or give like this pl pl woff pl pl paid holiday pl & pl. pls guide me and advice on the above querry.
I am under medical treatment & on leave for 1 month but my sl not in balance, but i have pl in a/c , pl advice can it be adjust & with full pay
I am working for company from last 6 years. i was hospitalized & now under medical treatment i am in need of leave for medical treatment as my a/c sl are over but i have pl more than 90 days in a/c i have applied for leave & request for pl to be adjust ag. but hr is saying in will be leave without pay. pl advise when el available in a/c how can co denied to adjust pl & put me under without pay? pl advise me if any law or any clause under labur law
Query on leave policy ( pl )
According to our hr policy we are allowing our employees to carry forward 5 pls to next year from the current leave balance and we don t allow the probationer 6months to avail pl but still they can accumulate their pls and use it later. now the problem is we have 34 probationer who joined before 5 months. they have 7.5 pl in their account. we have to reset the leaves for the next year. we didn t allow them to take pl since they are in probation. as per policy they can carry forward only 5 days. those employees are 2.5 days of pl. how to handle this? or suggestion in change of policy? pl guide. note: we are an startup so we don t have senior hr mgmt ppl. seeking your prompt advice.
Pl- temp staff
Hi we have a person working as a data entry operator in our co. he was working as a temp staff since he joined july 2010. but now it has been decided to take him on company pay rolls with effect from 1st april 2012. will he be applicable to pl from the day he joined or should pl be given from the day his services have been confirmed as permanent. kindly advice. thanks. regards mini
