That is bad. When the HR department people or anyone in your previous company try to login, access will be denied. You have absolutely no access to it even if the password remains unchanged eversince you came out. Let the new company subscribe to a Jobsite. A company cannot do business and flourish if it is so stingy in spending on essential expenses.
Please never confess to the misuse of such passwords openly on a site like this where ethics are valued. Your actions may mislead others. Instead if the HR Extv in that company is known to you personally, then you can request her/him to help you.
Your ex-company can sue you for reasons like Data security theft, access deniel to Jobsite, loss of productivity due to non access of Resumes, etc.
