Voluntary Turnover The rate of employees leaving the organization based on their own decision. Hiring Cycle Number of days from employee leaving the position to new employee starting to work in the position. Cost of Employee Training Total training cost divided by total headcount. Safety Number of accidents per period. Lost Time Number of days lost per period due to absenteeism, accidents, sick days, etc. divided by total working days. Average Length of Employment Average number of years employees stay with the organization. Employee Demographics Diversity of education, age, gender, etc. Example, percent of employees with advanced degrees. Technology Usage Example: Percent of employees who use the intranet. Absenteeism The rate of employee absenteeism is generally calculated: number of lost days / total working days. Employee Satisfaction The level of overall employee satisfaction. Example: percent of employees with at least average level of satisfaction; percent of dissatisfied employees. Cost of Benefits The total cost of benefits divided by total headcount. Employee Motivation The level of employee motivation. Example: percent of employees who are challenged to continuously improve and advance in their career. |
