Hi Amar,

Basically for the company like GAIL you should have a good knowledge about Laws related to HR.

Factory Act, Labour laws, Industrial dispute acts, Industrial relations, Acts and laws related to hiring, compensation, provident fund, and other benefits.

Also make sure you know the latest amendments on the laws and legilations. They ask you question from all these areas.

If you need more help, let me know.

Some good books on Industrial relations are:

Industrial relations and Law by P.K Malik

Another one is by H.L Kumar.

You can easily find them in all the major book stores across the country.

All the best

Hello friends....

I could get some questions on HR... and also one HR Dictionary.
Hope it will be useful for our exam as even I am giving the GAIL Mgmt Trainee exam in HR.

Take care.
