Default Hay Job Evaluation Methodology

Hi there,

Nice to read from you that your organization is interested in Hay Job Evalution Method.
Hay is know for their world class and globaly recognised three factor point rating job evaluation method.
Could you share with me which organization you are working with, because I have hunch in india hardly these professional and scientific methodologies appreaciated by any indian companies.

To know Job evaluation first you have to start from learing Job Analysis then writing of the Job Descriptions then job evaluation on point rating scale on following three factors of Hay Group:
-- Know How
-- Problem Solving
-- Accountability
These factor further divided into sub-factors which has been distributed with points for each sub factor.

Hay Group has their won point reference level with points levels for each job positions scoring to fit into point reference level to determine the relative worth of the job.

You have to approach Hay Group in Dubai Office because I doubt whether they have any office in India because these are very expensive tools hardly aford by Indian companies.
Indian job pricing technologies are based on horse trading. I never come across with Indian company with this scientific job evaluation apporach being practiced by them.

We are currently working with the Hay Group through their Dubai Office on our Gulf Salary Survey and Comprehansive Compansation Review Project and we have schedule meeting with them in our office in the last week of this month.
If you could provide your e-mail ID, I can refer them to you for further information.

Secondly, I want to know why you are choosing only Hay Group?, Why you are not trying for others also such as:

-- Meirc
-- Ernst & young

They will also propose you better job evaluations tools compatible to your organizational and Indian market conditions they offer more than three factors for example Ernst& young has 12 point factor and Meirc has seven factor job evaluation.

Further, be in touch because I am also planning to introduce a new job evaluation method for scrapping our old JE. I have to re-establish new JE method, we will be shortly heading for new JE methods after this compensation survey probably in October last week.

Regards

Sawant
