Default How to sell my company ?

Dear All,

Myself Kiran wkng in a Software Dev company as a Lead. I request you all to help me out in attracting candidates to join our company.

Details of my company:

+ ve's :

1. MNC
2. NASDAQ Listed
3. Product Based


-Ve's:

1. Weak Location (Located far from city)
2. No brand name in market.

can you pls post me ur valuable suggestion in identifyin the other ways of how to impress the candidates and get them on board.

we normallly say that"first impression is the best impression" bein the front face of the company i need to impress the applicant.

Hi Kiran,

To start off, it is not difficult to showcase a company and attract candidates. The current market scenario is pretty lean so you will have people willing to work for your company. Most of the time, it depends on how you are projecting the company - its culture, environment for growth, and finally stability in the market. Your shortcomings that you have listed are not really a problem in the current market scenario. You can also try sourcing candidates from sites such as monsterindia.com and other similar job sites. This will help in lead generation and once you have the list of right candidates, you can always talk to them. Remember, nothing is impossible to sell.

Hi Rahul,

Thanks alot for your suggestions, i started off with all those, The thing is am able to attract the pool but not able to get them on board.

People are taking offers and at the time of joining, we are badly ditched, this was happening from quite some time, even the market is lean n dull but still the candidates showin interest to join us is less.

I just wanna increase the ratio of joinin rates with that of taking offers.
Is there any other possibility of trackin them and make sure that dey will join us ?

We have been doing the regular follow ups but still the problem doesnt minimize.

pls. advice.

1) pay good salery
2)try to arrange sign boards in main places
3)conduct heavy interviews of walk in
4_create atmosphere of MNC and professinalisem
these are the things what i thought if i get something i will get back to you

Hi Kiran ...

I have seen your companies positive and negative things what you have posted, with these points what you have posted will boost the candidate a lot. Here i can tell you one thing, this problem is facing by every company regarding the joining of the candidate, but i want to suggests with below points at the time resume screening

1. Just chek with CTC expectation
2. Chek with roles and responsibility looking for
3. Find out the problems in the present company ( Looking for a change)
4. Ask him since how long he is looing for change
5. Find out the candidate ( Hometown)
