These days many companies are facing the problem of increasing attrition rate. This is becoming a big time head ache for HR people. Why there is growing amount of dissatisfaction among the employees? Has it something to do with the Salaries or appraisal system or job environment or _ _ _ _ _? Can we have one discussion over the topic Employee Retention Strategies? Hope this will help many HR people.

Hi Nabomita,

Retention of star members has been a challenge for organisations globally... We have engagement surveys to identify the employee engagement level and their advocacy quotient.

I have recently read an article which suggest "why not we take cues from loyal employees of the organisation?". High performing employees who have been in the system can be interviewed and their opinion can be kept in mind while formulating a retention strategy...

My suggestion of topic for discussion is "employee engagement as a correlate of retention"

I'm separately posting the complete version of the above article in the forum.

Regards
Gautam

Hi,

I think instead of following discussions on 1 particular topic...Why not ask some HR professionals to share their extra ordinary HR practices which are successfully implemented by them in any organization. In short they will discuss about some proud HR moments which will boost the morale of the new HR entrants.

To start with HR professionals can send write ups about their HR moments which they feel is extra ordinary & different from the rest.

Regards,
Pooja
