Hi,

Start with an "open house" system where your team can talk to Sr management team.

pls Note.

Always remember we are the bridge between management and employees.when you conduct an open house you need to ensure that your are creating an confidence with in your work force as an HR person.

make an minutes of the open house and display it in notice board. and create an highlighter for things that are implemented.

Its your duty to ensure that the out come of the open house will be implemented with in a stipulated time. Major implementation should have proper visibility through proper communication E.g. an employee have requested for a particular thing the employee and the Sr manager will inaugurate that process.

Regards,
Tony

Hi

First Of All, congrats, thou late!

My request is try to get your KRA's first.
Request your RM that you wish to focus on the dissemination of KRA's across the Organ, unless your RM thinks other wise.

Every employee would be interested in advancing his/her career goals and try to get a good list of MBA/Tech Programs of short term, medium term and Long term .Have a liaison with eminent edn institutions and invite speakers to share their experiences on different aspects of Human life .You be the coordinator(front end this initiative)
Arrange for informal get together , not exceeding 45 minutes in a week and ask the employees to share their views on any topic of their choice, of course with due moderation. You may front end this initiative.
And all the best!!!

The best thing to start of with is a work-life balance. So you can ensure that people leave the workplace at a particular time. Put a list of folks out and let them choose 3 days in a week when they leave on time. The remaining two, they can leave as per work permits. Hope this helps!

Hi All,

There can be a lot of things that can be started in any company in HR.. like as some of the person sait.. open house meetings, some stress buster programmes, informal meetings, news letter etc. another thing can be implementing some of the employee involvement activities like office TPM/5S, cross funtional teams etc.. also a forum of HR can be introduced where a HR representative can sit at a particular place in the office for some hours in a week to take all the feedbacks whether it can be positive or negative etc..

Dear shilpi,

As a part of R&R, you can begin with star performer of the quarter / year, employee referral prog (may award the refree with gift vouchers etc), year completion with the organisation eg: somebody completing 2 yrs of service with ur orgn may b awarded with a pen or something but for this take no. of yrs that the person has completed into consideration and plan a budget for this and accordingly look for an apt gift and so on....

Cheers,
SWati
