Whats the growth of recruiter in industry - "recruiter will always be a recruiter"?
Hi all i just wanted to put forward my concern and current status in my company. i am with this company since last 3 yrs and working as a senior team lead carrying over all 6 years of experience as a whole into recruitment and client relationship. my company is a mid size us mnc. there is a recent change in management and the person who took over our department is from non recruitment background. it s difficult to make him understand about the efforts and deals of our processes. same time i was expecting a role and responsibility promotion which went on hold because of the change in senior management. now the new person who came has told me one day when i asked him " what would be my next level growth" he said "recruiter will always be a recruiter" please suggest me if thats the fact?? and also let me know how do i need to deal with him. shall it be the time to move on and switch? or is there any other way i can make him understand. i am really a hard worker..got so many appreciations at times but this new behaviour is really difficult to cop up. not even able to focus on my day to day work. its effecting my performance. need seniors suggestions. please show the path here. thanks in advance.

Growth of a recruiter
Hello everyone i have something to discuss which lot of fellow citehr members would be eager to know...here it goes ow can a recruiter add value to his profile? let s say that a recruiter has 3 years of work experience into technical and non technical recruiting. when he looks for a change he would like to move to a senior position in talent acquisition/recruitment. during such times a simple question of how he has added value to his profile is normally asked. what could be the ways in which a recruiter adds value to his profile or do things differently? what can a recruiter do to stand out from the please pour in all your suggestions/comments as it would benefit lots of people in this fraternity. regards sajal
