Wearing uniform inholidays (contract employees)
Iam running a house keeping unit. in some it companies the management is not allowing my employees to work on holidays including sundays without uniform as number of people are very less. so please clarify me whether it is compulsory to wear the uniform on holidays. the uniform is a over coat the summer in chennai is very heavy.

Sir working with a dgr regd security agency. as per dgr wage structure there is a column on uniform allowance 5 of basic here my question is who will take this amount ? will it be with agency or to pay that amount to guard ? agency is providing them uniform. please let me know what to do ? if any govt guideline on this uniform matter contract labour psara act or any other please share. thnx akshay

Dear all i am working as a hr executive for a automobile dealership and here as per the company policies we are deducting the cost of uniform if the employee is leaving with in 1year and the charges are made for unused months and based on landing price of that particular material. for example: mr. a joining date is 01/01/2013 and leaves on 01/08/2013 we charge for 4 months. i am fresher to this job kindly suggest me that is there any such rules to deduct the amount for the uniform and is this a right thing what we are doing or not.
