PF site for Chechking Balance - Mumbai

In India, till today there are no advancement in checking the PF Balance
through on line. It will take another decade to implement by the PF authorities. If you have a contact with PF office you can get your balance amt with out much trouble

Hi,

Every organisation will have the details of the contributions made. You can also get to know this from FORM 24 (or 25 not sure !) which will be provided to every organisation from the respective EPF authority every year which will contain the relevant info.

The reason why it is difficult to get to know this online may be because
1. It involves the employees contribution, the employer`s contribution, the handling bank. There might be delays from anyone of the parties and hence there may be lack of coordination in providing the information ready made.

I understand in some states (may be 4/5 states) it has already implemented. Whereas in Maharashtra this is under process as we have already submitted all the required documents for conversion into electronic form. I personally attended the launching programme organised by the RPF, Vashi sometime back.
